A devastating accident occurred early Wednesday morning on Highway 57, in the Hermanas–Sabinas area near kilometer 68. A passenger bus, identified by number 9132, overturned while en route from Ciudad Acuña to Gómez Palacio, Durango, leaving one person dead and multiple others injured.

Among the victims was a young boy named Jairo, who was taken in critical condition to Clinic 7 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Monclova.
